21 February 2018 – Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML) has been contracted by ECMWF as part of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) Marine project, to develop a European focused Marine, Coastal and Fisheries Sectoral Information System (SIS) service, with partners from Telespazio VEGA UK, AZTI, CSIC, HCMR and PML Applications.
Telespazio VEGA UK along with e-Geos and GAF Munich are attending the DGI 2018 conference on 22-24 January in London.
20 February 2018 – Telespazio VEGA UK has successfully delivered key launch authorisation software, which was recently used operationally for the first time in launch VA240 when an Ariane 5 rocket blasted off from the spaceport in French Guiana carrying 4 Galileo satellites.
25 January 2018 – A team of data scientists at the Satellite Applications Catapult is leading a new study, funded by Innovate UK, to see if it is possible to detect a lithium ‘fingerprint’ from space by imaging vegetation and minerals on the ground using satellites.
24 January 2018 – Telespazio VEGA UK attended DGI 2018 conference and exhibition this week, alongside e-GEOS and GAF, presenting a unified presence as a global leader in the geoinformation market, providing geospatial applications and services.
24 January 2018 – The Coordinator for Space Activities of Leonardo and the Chief Executive officer of Telespazio, Luigi Pasquali, spoke at the Conference on European Space Policy, which was held in Brussels from 23-24 January.
23 November 2017 – The international conference “Commercialisation of Space – Realising UK Goals for Innovation and Growth” organised by the Royal Aeronautical Society and sponsored by Telespazio VEGA UK, was held in London on 21-22 November 2017.

7 November 2017 – Telespazio VEGA UK has recently released a first version of a new European climate data hub called the Climate Data Store.
